Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne visited Central Peel Secondary School near Kennedy Road and Queen Street in Brampton on August 17th to announce an investment of $46,000 in the Free For All Foundation, which runs the Pump It Up Program at the school.
The Pump It Up Program helps keep kids active and creative and also connects them with members of Peel Police. This program helps advance the goal of the Free For All Foundation of helping at-risk youth achieve their full potential. According to the Premier, “Sports have the power to play a positive role in the lives of our youth.
By investing in sport and recreation, our government is providing opportunities for young people to get active, engage with their communities and develop the skills they need to excel.”
